During our lifetime many of us can have problems with our backs, hips, knees and feet due to everyday activities, be it work or sport.

Diabetics need to pay particular attention to the care of their feet. Preventative measures can be taken to avoid the risk of pressure to a diabetic foot.

However there are orthotic devices that can prevent or cure these problems.

Patients should always be fully assessed by a qualified orthotic clinician before being fitted with orthoses. A badly fitted device can make your condition worse.

What is an Orthoses?

An orthosis is an external bracing of the endo skeletal system to gain good alignment/support and prevent deformities. Various types of orthoses can achieve this.
